Parent Teaching Seminars
Lurz Driver Training will be hosting seminars for parents of new teen drivers. The program is designed to help teach parents how to teach their kids to drive. Many parents, moms and dads alike, may feel uncomfort- able in the car with their kids for reasons such as the parent/child barrier; a failure to properly communicate; not knowing how or what to relate or teach. Much of the discomfort in the car may simply be manifested by fear or a feeling of helplessness should an emergency arise. This results simply in an unwillingness to go out and partake in what may very well wind up being an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, the new driver pays the price by not getting the much needed practice AND the required 50 hours of supervised practice.

This seminar will help improve the relationship in the car by having a more structured approach to the issue of driver training with your kids. Knowing what and how to teach and having a greater sense of control can greatly improve the time spent with your child and help eliminate anxiety. End Result: ... a safer, better prepared driver AND a happier you.
